Zenkit’s Licensing Philosophy

ll Zenkit subscriptions are organization-based. An organization is a shared workspace where you and your team collaborate, manage data, and access features and resources together. Each organization has its own members, permissions, content, and usage limits.

When you choose a plan, you subscribe for a specific organization and define how many team members (seats), features, and quotas are included. All members of the organization, including administrators and owners, are counted for billing purposes.

Zenkit typically offers a free trial period of 14 days, during which you can explore all premium features without obligation. After the trial ends, and if no paid subscription is activated, access to the organization may be restricted, usually allowing data export only. After an additional grace period, stored data may be removed from our servers.

You can upgrade, downgrade, or adjust your plan at any time to match your team’s needs.

Learn more in our Terms of Service. Zenkit subscriptions for non-free plans are automatically recurring and can be paid on a monthly or annual basis. The given prices are charged per member and month. In some countries, additional tax may apply.

Resources, Usage and Quotas

Zenkit stores the content you produce and also generates additional content (e.g. activities, user permissions, notifications, etc.) on the Zenkit infrastructure. This stored content is called “resources”. If you share resources with other users, these users become “members” of your resources. To calculate your usage of your account for a certain product, we summarize all of the resources that you access from the product, and we summarize all the members who have installed the product and have access to your resources. A free plan may include a quota of some free members (e.g. two members) you can share your data with. Paid plans do not have free member quotas included. When you upgrade to a paid plan, each and every member must be paid for, including the original (free) members. If your usage of the product reaches the quotas of your subscription, it will be marked as “exceeded”. You will still be able to use the product, but there will be some limitations after a certain amount of time. You have a period of time (e.g. 14 days) in which to get back under the quotas for your subscription or upgrade your subscription.

Legal Entities

Please note the domain of the email address that you use to register with is significant, as Zenkit users with the same domain are classed together as one legal entity, regardless of their connection to one another. Learn more in our Terms of Service.

Data Ownership

You are and will remain the sole owner of the data and content you create on the Zenkit platform.
